hey, i recently have become interested in SR500's. I have had a bike for about 6 months but, have only been able to clock a couple thousand miles within the first 4 months.
The bike is a 1984 honda VF500F and it is currently disassembled ;D.
I'm hoping i will be able to splice it with a doner 1986 vf500 over Christmas break. I think the pre-86 vf500f had a similar top end oiling issues as the SR500's i have read about.
