Hey,
Im looking into buying a fork brace. I have seen them on Mikes xs but I am leaning towards the Tarozzi or a Tkat. Any one else make on to fit an SR? Any opinions on quality or fit?

I had a TKAT brace on another bike I used to own "Suzuki Savage" and it was a quality product and perfect fit. I imagine it would be the same quality and fit for the SR brace.

well considering the XS650 front is swappable you could do a search for one of those as well.

That Omar's one is really nice looking. I have the Tarozzi and i'm very pleased with it. Fit is exceptional and the price was good too. About $125 US shipped.

hmmm. will that brace from Omar's still allow you to use a fender?
trackers usually don't have a front fender. is that what you building?

Im not really sure what it is I am building. Kinda going for light and comfotable at this point, I have removed the fenders and it feels a little loose. I might want to put one on in the future.

Go for one that uses the guard mount bolts rather than the seal area and you will not get seal stiction, like we all did in the early 80's, cheers

I see a set of Tarozzi's in flat black on e-bay. The box in the photo says that they will fit a 1980-2004 SR 500. Will these fit a 78 SR 500 E? I thought all of the front ends were the same from that era? I'll buy a set if they fit. Help!

Yes, they will fit. I have one on my E model. It does get a little close to the fender, though.
