Riding at 110 and capow pipe fell off. Jeepers it was loud and very very scary!
The weld broke... competely destroyed pipe of course. Ah well back to the super sound for me.
Cheers

OOPS!! Did the bike go any better? I have this theory based on trying to keep up with the guys a the TT/XT 500 Muster - the louder they are the faster they go. Mick

That's happened to me!
Watch out for the supersound, especially with the header wrap - mine melted off about a year or two now.
What type of exhaust did you have on your old bike?

Same happened to me over the summer. Stock exhaust. Out on a nice day-long ride, 80 mph and suddenly BAAAAAAAA! Apparently the muffler scrap bounced along the highway some and nearly hit my friends new Ducati. Sounded nice. Rode well. A few backfires after I pulled off the highway. Nice torque. My new muffler isn't quite working out. I may just put that broken one right back on.
