Hey Guys!
The SR is going up to get a lovely new singarm, new rear shocks, and the fork springs done. Is there any companies out there that make a good bike lift?
It'll be up for a week if things go well. Knowing my skills, it'll probably be more like a month or two.

Yes, I bought one from Melbourne and had it sent up to me here...so you're in the right place at least. You've seen mine as I recall Marlon...Mine came from Spanner Supplies in Altona...they're nice and strong, I put my CB900 up one it...and cheap...$359. ...get the longer one as I did (1,200lb) not the red, shorter version...unless room is an issue. Worth getting I reckon. SR

Is that all Stew for the one you had the Boldor on? Seems like good value.
I've been thinking about this too, sick of crawilng around on the ground, and my milk crate isn't what it used to be!

Beautiful work Stew! I work at Altona, so I'm cheering about that!
Milky, I've done the milkcrate thing before, but it's high time I got myself organised. Wriggling around on the deck isn't what it used to be.
Maybe we're just getting old.

Yes this is the one here...900 and all...worth the effort. It weighs a bit so the transport to ACT etc. is a little steep. Depends who you know I guess. SR

got a similar one here...almost the exact. (you can't see the front stay in this pic) Here in the states, you can get them ~300$ from Harbor Freight.

K-Mart in Barkly Square (Brunswick) has bike lifts for $160... I know nothing of the quality, but their stuff is usually between ok to good for the use given it by people like us.

I think I'm getting old Marlon, you're right.

Nice Stew- I always liked the UK/Euro edition paint on the SP1/SP2's. The US market received the same for all but one year (AMA Hayden Rep).
That pic of my SP2 was last year when fitting front mount radiators (gets hot hot hot in Texas summers). I love the engines on those things.

I use a PitBull brand front stand...the one that lifts from under the bottom tripleclamp (as opposed to the ones that lift from the bottom of the forks). This one makes it a breeze to remove the forks and other modifications besides just removing the front wheel.

That's what I'm after. I'm going to pop into that place in Altona after work today, and have to measure up my tiny, tiny garage. If it comes to it, I'll have to get a centre stand kinda thing and a front fork stand as well. With any luck I'll be able to do all this stuff inside my girlfriends house.
