Hey, if you were a bicycle rider that would be pure "weight weenie" stuff. I always was a weight weenie- bicycles and motorcycles. 30 lbs off an SR is 2-3 hp-almost a 10% boost in power all along the rev range- not just peaky not too useful power.
Nice part, - looks it is the cam chain tension adj.The screws that fit in the rocker arm spindles are also steel,and external-maybe they could be aluminum also?
