Has anyone switched over to the taper roller bearings? I'm starting with a bare frame with no bottom or top race. The top seems like it is too shallow for an 11mm race to fit in (By about 5-6mm) Is there suppose to be a top bearing cup?

Also, I want to double check the bearing sizes: top 36x20x11 bottom 48x30x12 is that correct?

No!
Upper bearing has 43mm outer diameter and 25mm bore!
Should be invisible when mounted, i.e. outer race ain't higher
than the seat deep.
