Thanks for the advice Milkman but its going into the future projects section for now ! I may pull the engine & clean it up a bit to get the cafe going(whilst the engine for that is in the future projects section too)& somewhere along I'll do up the frame & rematch it ? It starts to get expensive when you've got to deal with swingarm bearings, shockies, tyres, brakes, engine rebuild& all that other stuff & thats without putting any fruit on aye carumba . Oh yeah the birthdays , 1 of my 78s is 30 it was on 2/78 (2j2150158) no 2 is in April & the other is in July so hows that for a bit of trivia ? Cheers Dave

Do you want me to mind it for you Dave, until that "future" date?
Mine is 30 this year, engine pulled, some fruit already bought, just need to get out of overnight work here at the great silver bung hole long enough to go and see the right people.
Stupid work - can't play with bikes with it, can't buy bikes without it

Good offer mate but I'll decline(I'll get to it dont worry) .I know what you mean about the work thing as I've been putting in 80 hours a week on a plant shutdown 3 towns away (5 weeks so far & 2 maybe 3 to go) before I'm free to get back onto the bikes . I've got gear at the chromer's ,gear in the paint shop ,2 bikes to do things to & 1 to get back on track & try to finish building & I was also hoping to tackle the Laverda as I spilled it in the carpark on my last ride(nothing serious just an indicator & a scrape). I should at least have the coin to do things anyway. Funny thing is I'm working on a SR plant (synthetic rutile that is ,real black dirt) I know & feel your pain cheers Dave.
