Hi. I am hoping either Carl or someone knowledgeable can answer this.
In the excellent VMX article Carl wrote he talks about machining the crankshaft oil seal hole on the clutch cover to take a circlip and to enlarge the oil hole OR to fit a later model clutch cover on which this is standard.
Mine is a 1976 cover which the oil seal is not held by a circlip.
What year cover do I need to obtain for this change or if you read this Carl, do you still perform this conversion.
