Hi,
I have been checking out the Firestone Vintage MC tires but was looking for some feedback on them or suggestions of other tires with that old skool tread pattern.
thanx

The bike rides so much better with newer type tires, I along with many others really like the BT45's. Other than show, & more for riding like we do with any newer built bike the BT's or any other newer design is better.

Pretty much any other tire that you may find with that "old skool tread pattern" will have the same results. I can understand the aesthetic reasons for wanting such a tire but, from a riding point of view, the BT45 is pretty much the defacto tire for the SR.

Thanx for the info, it sounds like the BT45's are everyones tire of choice.
Next question what width tires do you or can you run on the stock mag wheels ?

I have a BT45 in the rear and a cheap "Barracuda" or something in the front. I'll probably replace it with a BT45 before spring.

Just as an alternative Pirrelli Sport Demons. Run these on my XT motard and those that ride with me will attest to how hard I push them. I also agree on the BT45's. Wizz was running them on his race SR & Greg still is.
