I had terrible headlight, like there was a candle in there instead of a H4.
Time to inspect ! I disassembled the reflector bulb thingie and started to clean the inside after i took the bulb-head off. Man the inside was covered with black carbon, it was easy to clean, gained a lot of candle power !
My guess the carbon got in there by a loose rubber socket ! Due to negative pressure the car fumes (lots of diesels here) sucked right in.
