My wife says holiday birhtdays suck !!! Present comes on Christmas - in Christmas paper - "oh, don't worry we just got you an extra Christmas present" !?! She was born 1-1-48 ... I don't ever wrap her presents in anything but birthday paper --- and only give them to her on New Years Day !!! OH, HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!!!! Gabby Nobody tells her I let it slip she's 60 this year !!!

your right SR...and I hope to keep it that way! The thing about these machines is summed up in Yamaha's credo for the MT01 and they call it kodo.. "Kodo is a beat, a pulse, a vibration of the soul, an immutable and irresistible force that propels you through life or up a twisty road. Kodo is the defining characteristic of the new MT-01, a machine designed for a radically different riding experience. How did we create Kodo? By quantifying the emotions, the sounds and feel-good vibrations of the man-machine relationship and distilling them into a seductive form of steel and aluminium. They did it in 78... took them a while to put words to it!.... doesnt matter if its at traffic lights or carving corners, the 'kodo' is there in both machines, my preference after spending time on both is the SR. having said that a project MT01 would be a nice way to spend a year in the garage, just need to go on a diet! Interestingly, the same design people came up with both the SR500 and the MT01... SR

Thanks guy's don't think I've had so many "happy birthdays" since my 21st, and wasn't that a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away, Has mike sent you guy's pictures of his SR 500 in an RGV chassis yet? the sound that bike makes above 5000rpm makes the hairs on your arms stand up, it should be heard to believe it, and I don't mean offensively loud either, just music, go to be one of the best I"ve ever built me tinks, thanks again guy's, Carl.
