If you think your carb is not operating right. Before you buy $$$$ a bunch of jets please check your timing like I didn't. Not that its an excuse but I did have a stator rebuilt and just dropped it back in without checking the timing. I was way retarded (figuratively too). Retarded behaves like its rich when the plug tells you otherwise.
Now I can go back to messing with the jets.

or check the valves i worked on my jetting for 2.5 months and then was told to adjust the intake valve and the ended all my problems i have the original carb on and it runs gr8 i even get 58.9 mpg

yeah, i had checked the valves long ago, just never did the timing I was fully retarded and the difference was big. i still have some bogging but its much better and still i dont think its advancing properly based on the timing light...but thats another issue. cliff
