what is the original setting on a stock carb for the air fuel mixture i have fought the jetting on this bike for 2 mo and found out it was the friggin intake valve not adjusted right i woul like to set it back to stock and fine tune from there thanks dan

Try screwing it fully in, but very lightly so you don't jam the end of the needle in the carb orifice, and then take it out about 1 and a half turns out and start from there... SR

thanks stew thats what i thought and i think i am 2.5 to 3 turns out should i go to the next richer pilot that would be the stock one that i would put back in Dan

If you can do it, try warming the bike up then screwing it in and out to get the highest point of idle...don't burn you hands...heh, heh...see where it is then. It adjusts fuel so if it is a long way out maybe go to a larger size jet...or vice-versa. If you have a freer flowing exhaust you really need to adjust it to get the best setting anyway...stops it popping on the overrun as well. SR
