Nice Bike Is that a Viper fairing ? & does it have any adverse affects on the handling of the bike . The reason I ask is I used to have a similar handlebar mounted fairing on one of my XJ650 s & it used too weave @ about 80mph , still, kept my licence clean when I was younger guy ;D LURCH

hi, the fairing is made by Emgo. its kind of a cheapy - only about $65. the elevation here is 6500 ft. and i haven't fiddled with the carb yet, so the bike doesn't really go fast enough yet to tell the difference with or without it. i had a KZ1100 with the same fairing, but that thing was such a pig it went straight all the time anyway. the fairing does shake a lot at highway speed, so i'm going to fashion some struts to go from the bar to the rearmost windshield screw. it does look pretty good, tho. thanks for the nice words - i really like my bike.

Hi Mate Thanks for the info I also have one of these fairings they seem to be a generic part marketed under various names Emgo ,Viper & probably more . You have convinced me to use it on my Cafe racer project ,so out with the spray gun again Thanks LURCH
