Thought I'd intorduce myself, I've own a 1979 SR500F that I bought new in 1980 when I was working for a Yamaha/BMW dealership here in Virginia. A lot of bikes have come and gone but I could never bring myself to part with SR, I'm sure that many of you can relate to that. It has gone through several iterartions during the 28 years that I've had it but right now it is pretty much a quasi cafe. As soon as I figure out how to attach imagesI'll post a photo. I also currently own a 2007 Ducati Sport Classic(Sport 1000 Biposto), but I've been thinking about a total redo of the SR, so I was really happy to find this great site.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone, I'm sure this will become a site I will be visiting frequently, as I begin to work on the next iteration of the SR.
