My SR didn't come with front brakes, but I found a set and just put them on today. The actual "brake" part is fine, but how do you connect the brake switch to the rest of the electrics?? It looks like everything goes into the headlamp assembly, but I can't see more than that.. how do I get to that??
Second question - I hooked up my 12V power supply and it looks like I have some bulbs out in my guages. How do I get to them??
Thanks!

Yes, nearly every wire in the bike goes through the headlight. If memory serves, there are two counter-sunk screws on the outside of the headlight bucket at about 4 and 6 o'clock. The plug should only fit one place, so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out from there.
I have not done my gauge bulbs, but I think you remove the gauge and go in from the bottom. I've heard it's not easy, but I can't remember why. Short wires I think.

Well that's good, because there wasn't anything at 6!! I didn't have anything at 4, either, and 8 was rounded off pretty bad. I got it out, but I'm definately going to hit the hardware store for some new bolts to put it back in..
I think I have it set up properly, but I need to do some more work before I find out for sure..

remove the gauges from the bracket. release the 2 screws from the chrome housing.lift the gauges from the housing and you will have acces to the bulbs. replace them and mount everything back in reveresed order
