Now I've really gone and done it

Bike never made it on the toy run. Borrowed a trade plate to get the bike down to my mates workshop so we could do a bit to it. He is a very persuasive man, $1250 and a secondhand alternator for my car changed hands and now the bike is his.
All was well until the post toy run drinks, where he got talking to Wizza, the original owner.
Unfortunately Wizza let slip I only paid $750 for it.
My mate says he forgives me for making a healthy profit. And healthy it is too, since I am still in possession of the WR forks, the spare parts, and the workshop manual.
I'll still be scrutinising the next service bill for my Ford very carefully:)
