That's a awesome pic Lurch SRs as far as the eye can see (almost vanishing point SRs)! I just wonder if the model SR came from Stu's initials anyway? Can you enlighten us Stu ? Are you the man ? Or is it just a coincidence ? Cheers Dave.

Heh, heh...well it'd make a good story to say they named it after me but...alas...pure co-incidence. Although, in 1980 Pitman's in Adelaide sent some black and white pics of my first cafe racer to Yamaha in Japan, after Yamaha went around their dealers asking for ideas for the future direction for the SR...made me feel good. No idea what they ever did with them... Yes, that's a line up to satisfy any SR nut...Japan? Guess so...there's probably about enough SRs there for me...so where are you guys going to get some... SR  |

And where might this be? , in 20 years of owning a SR500 in Scotland I have never seen another on the road.

Just found out.
There are 30 SR's in Norway. One more than the picture
shows....
Four of them is in my aera of Norway.

Who's going for a world record, jumping Sr's on a SR ? ;D
I rode a moped off a jetty in my younger days for a bet ;D water bloody hurts at 30 + mph
