Hello,
I have a 81 SR500 that I have owned since it had 500 miles on it, I think in about 1984. Spent quit a few years just stitting in the garage while the kids where growing up, but now my youngest is old enough to ride so out it came ;D.

I haven't done much with it but ride it, up to about 12,000 now. It's still really stock, so stock that I'm finally putting replacing the original front tire(I know that's way to long to run on old rubber).
I used to own a 78 XT500. Loved that bike. It had the bigger piston, can and springs and a supper trap, aluminum swing arm and fox shocks. I wish I would have hung on to it, but I sold it for $300, hmm, seemed like a lot of money at the time.
Anyway, I ordered both tires(BT45's) and only the front came in today. So I got it all mounted and ballanced and just waiting for the other one to come in and I'm back on the road
