The bike that led me to the SR500 is the Deus "Grievous Angel". The spartan look of the bike just does it for me. A large part of that look is the lack of fenders. My bike is used for a daily 10 mile commute, and where I live rain is the norm so fenderless isn't very practical. Some newer sport bikes have a short rear fender that attaches to the swing arm and really hugs the rear tire. Anyone ever see such a thing on an older bike like the SR?
A bobbed cafe or flat tracker seat and a light weight carbon or GRP "hugger" fender might look good and keep the stripe off the back as well.

I've got no rear or front fender on my bike to speak of, and I live in the rainy city and haven't had any problems with a wet back or front... My number plate may well help a bit.

How is that possible Marlon? What am I doing wrong?
I've got the super short Daytona rear fender from Vanem and every time I ride in the wet I get a wet back! I was thinking about changing it over to something more practical... any ideas?
