It's an old TZ250 seat that I carefully cut down and re-worked. It fits perfectly on the (cut down at rear) frame rails, and there's a couple of brackets already on the sides of the frame that I attached it with. I welded a plate on the top of the frame, just behind the tank, and mounted the front of the seat with two more bolts. It's solid as a rock, and I also mounted the CDI unit under the plate.

Well......I have to say that my girlfriend doesn't look quite like that. My Paul is HoneyBurst and not a SunBurst and it's an Epi and not a Gibson. And my SR doesn't have number plates. One can always dream though

I got a front hub off an RD 350, and the back hub was from an XT500. I had the D.I.D. rims made up at Kosman racing in the bay area. I don't know if they will still do that kind of work. You'll have to call them and see. - Mick
