Hello everybody. I got an account on this forum and put some pictures of bike up. Forgot to do this part Im from Norway and at the moment i have 3 bikes. Yamaha SR500 1978 model. And a Yamaha TRX 850 plus Honda XR600R. I prefer bikes with no more than 2 cylinders. First bike i ever had was a Kawasaki LTD440. It wasent a very good bike but ok to start out on. And it sounded good. I went without a bike from 1997 to 2006 when i bought my SR500. Hoping to win the lottery so i can buy even more bikes From Gunnar in Norway

The weather shifts alot during the summer. I live in the southwest part of Norway and here we either get a decent summer or cold winds and rain. Might be sun, but it will be cold winds. So far this year we have had 2 warm periods. Almost all of June was great. Now its raining and some thunderstorms. The Honda XR600R ive got can be ridding in rain but the thing that holds me back is my jacket wich is not waterproof Last summer was terrible. This year i started the season before easter and it was great...until easter came with snow for about 1-2 weeks.... Hopefully the weather will play nice some more so i get to ride into late october and maybe november.

Hi Gunnar, welcome to the forum. It's cold, but not so wet here in Canberra too. See the snow behind the 900 taken yesterday...frozen fingers ride... Enjoy the site. SR

Hej Gunnar!
Mvh,
Jesper

I would have thought that the westcoast of Canada is cold during the summer. At least the summer must be short?
Im retired myself so im actually looking at houses for sale in Sweden and lots of other Countries including Canada. Norway is WAY to expensive. Seems our goverments hobby and fulltime job is to come up with new taxes or other ways of screwing us over. Ive had enough and am seriously thinking about taking my pension and moving to another country.
Any suggestions? Like websites with ads for houses on sale?

Nah, the weather in southwestern British Columbia is relatively mild. We rarely get snow in the winter (at least not in Vancouver where I live). The hills right outside the city get tons of snow though but down in the valley it's mostly rain (and lots of it). The summers are usually pretty long and dry and with a higher average temp than back in Scandinavia. You can check out remax.ca for houses. Check out West Vancouver - nice little town.
