Hi folks,
When fixing my front disk brakes last night I pulled the caliper apart after being seized and found that the piston is pitted. Obviously been sitting for some time. Cleaned it up and after some 30mins of bleeding the line mastercyl and calipers all is good now.
I know i should find a new piston. Where should I look for one at a good price in Australia.

Give Adrian a call at Vanem, he'll get you one no problems. Tell him I sent you!
Alternately, if it's the SR400 brake unit that I'm thinking of (The one I've got on my '05 model) it is pretty much the same unit as the XVS250-650 line of bikes and the "Renaissa", I think it's called. (The old cafe one with the same engine as the Virago)
