Heres a few pics of my Sr400 project.
As you can see a few modifications have been made so far.
1. New bars
2. Seat from Vanem.
3. Took off back guard. cut in half and re attached. Will buy new rear light.
4. When started the other night I realised that it is too quiet. With a drill bit and a piece of reo bar it is a little louder now.
Things I have to do.
Sandblast and powdercoat rims.
New spokes.
A few new cables.
Register and Ride
I got it running properly ;D ;Dlast night. The bike has been sitting for a while and the slide in carbie was stuck. With a bit of lovin we got the carb back to beautiful and boom she started and idled like a dream.
Then to the brakes. The front caliper was seized and with a bit of persuasion we got that workin as well, although the piston is pretty badly pitted. Workin fine at the moment but I will have to get a new piston?
Will post a clip next week when powdercoating and respoke is done. ;D
