Hey peepholes.
I sold my sr500 and got a yamaha fzr600 genesis (sorry lol) but i really wanted to say thanks for all the help you guys gave me when i was sorting out the old beast ;D
Also does anyone mind if i continue posting on the forums?

Hahaham yeah the guy that bought it from me had two xt500's and a 1979 sr500 already so i was quite happy with that!!!! I just wanted something a bit (lot) faster haha cos im 25 and thats what its all about  cheers guys! Damo |

Hehe lurch I dont know how to get in touch with him cos I sold it on ebay a while ago now and I dont have any of his details. Looks nice & tidy Damo
Should get noticed for all the wrong reasons with a nice bright color scheme like that , just ride it sensibly, my EX girlfreind lost her licence riding one of those mind you she was clocked doing 122mph in a 30 limit she was & still is a bit of a nutter ,must be to put up with me for 4 years

Haha, aye I do treat the bike with respect. The way I see it is that im not a seasonal rider. I dont just go out on a nice day. I ride my bike 70miles round trip to work everyday and the law of averages says that driving like a dick for over 300 miles every week will greatly increase my chances of death. Which is not too good. I have my moments like we all do where it seems the throttle wont twist far enough but most of the time im quite happy to just keep up with the traffic and pass the odd slow moving vehicle Damo |

Hehe, yeah dave, theres a lot of very twisty roads around where i live and i can run rings around the bigger bikes on it haha! well, as until we get to a straight longer than 500yards lol
