I've been looking at stock "crotch rocket" rearsets to see which ones might be most easily adapted to the SR500. The GSXR 1000 rearsets look very promising. They have foldable pegs (kickstarter clearance), integral master cylinders and brake light switches ( I have a rear disk), and the shift linkage looks like it should be adaptable. Of course, custom mounting plates would have to be made, but all in all they would seem to be a fairly easy set to adapt. Two questions come to my mind: will the Suzuki master cylinder be suited to the SR's caliper? and will the Suzuki shift arm fit the SR's splined shaft?
Has anyone used the GSXR rearsets on an SR or fitted any superbike rearsets to the SR?
