eApparently the fellow before me dropped the bike and lost the front brake handle at some point. I've been all over the internet, looking at front brake sets and it "seems" like a pretty straightforward process.
Are they pretty much standardized? If I can find a brake with a cylinder, it will fit for the most part, correct?? Or is there more to this than meets the eye??
The disc is there on the front, and the pads seem to be in decent shape. The lines are they and look okay. All I think I need is the handle and cylinder.. am I right?

Do you need just the handle or the whole cylinder assy? I think one from just about any Yamaha of the same vintage will work or you can buy a new one from Mike's XS or Parts N More.

buy the master cylinder from mike's xs. and get a one piece stainless braided line. your brakes will feel more solid when you use them.

Excellent Suggestions! Looks like my next paycheck is going to Mike's XS Parts!
