This is tough because it's now different than stock. This is how I would proceed, you may do otherwise. If you know what the oil level measured from the top of the tube was before your mods, then use that level minus 1 inch as the starting point and adjust up or down based on feel. (bottoming=more oil, short travel = less oil). Otherwise remove the springs and collapse the suspension. then add oil until about 8" from the top of the tube. pump the forks and confirm measurement. Assemble and test ride. You will be on the soft side and will possibly bottom on a test ride through some street bumps. Begin adding oil using the method above until right. Record and save the setup.
Best of luck.

I may sound dumb ! But why would you do this modification?& to add my 5cents the oil may need to be a thicker viscosity .Why not just take out the spacer(now I must sound real dumb)Cheers Dave.

I just changed the oil in mine last weekend. I removed 155mL from each lg, and I put back 190mL.(cuz I'm fat) Huge difference. It used to feel like I was going to go over the bars during panic stops. That feeling is pretty much gone. It doesn't seem too harsh to me.

Well, I didn't like the stance, it needed lowered. the shocks are OK but I could see having 1/2-3/4" lower? Style, form and function are all important to me. My bikes my not be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm not building them a bike, it's mine. I went with 175 and figure I'll play with it and see what I like. compression is good but rebound is a little slow I think I'm going to end up replacing my 2' spacer with a 2" spring which I thought I should've done in the first place but some people said a spacer works as well? I may sound dumb ! But why would you do this modification?& to add my 5cents the oil may need to be a thicker viscosity .Why not just take out the spacer(now I must sound real dumb)Cheers Dave.
