Well I'm going for it and checking as I go is impossible as I got it with a battery eliminator. the wheels are at powder coat.
if it doesn't work out I have found a guy to rewire it.

What are the bits circled all this stuff was zip tied together under the seat?

The big black box is the CDI module, the little black box in the middle, with the 2 pin connector is the flasher relay and the other black box is the indicator self-cancelling unit.

The silver unit with the fins is the rectifier/regulator.
