I am assemblying my street tracker ('78 SR500). I just put in the wiring harness last night and just HAD to check and see if I could get that magic blue flash out of the spark plug and YES it was there!
This bike had sat for I think 13 years outside and had some considerable rust in some spots (including some on the flywheel). So, far it doesn't seem to matter, the electrical is intact.
