I'm nearing completion of my chassis and could use some advice on what size of master cylinder to use on my front brake conversion.
I have a 4 piston Brembo 5165 series Goldline caliper with two 30mm pistons and two 34mm pistons(P3034), Brembo p/n 20.5165.86, if that helps any.
I'm running a single 320mm rotor on the right fork leg. I got the caliper bracket and rotor spacer from Vanem. The rotor and caliper I got off e-bay at really good prices, both new, unused parts.
So now, I'm down to the master cylinder and the brake line from having my front brake conversion done!
Best regards to you all. Jeron

five eigths will give good feel, any more will reduce lever travel [and feel] too much, most twin disc japanese bikes run a five eights master, rubber line is fine and better for bumpy roads. cheers.

Thanks for your recommendation, Carl.
I do have a question though. Wouldn't a 5/8ths be overkill? Because I'm only running a single rotor/caliper. Or does 5/8ths work out alright with the size and # of pistons in my caliper?
Sorry if I'm being dense, had a long day @ work today!
