my sentiments exactly!!cracking looking bike that i've looked at more than once or twice,but that cheap looking box section frame always gets the better of me.Funny thing is I reckon if they'd have gone with round section they would have achieved iconic classic status,still may be tempted..... one day.

I almost bought one when I couldn't find an SR500. Fortunately it was sold and my SR came along. Looks like a great bike! But yeah, the frame turned me off a bit too, stopped it from having a classic look (in my limited sense of that).

You wouldn't believe the hype pre release of the SRX, I had an SR at the time and worked for a big yamaha dealership, I was almost sleepless and then I rode one, heavy, dull, good brakes!! but what a let down.....geeze it takes a lot of work to get one honking and that chassis is heavy......stick to the SR's guy's
