My buddy and I just saved an '80 SR today.

Got it for $425 and all I did to get it running is clean the float bowl and main jet and give the battery a charge. It was last plated in '97.

Need a carb kit and the master cylinder is toast but those are no big deal.

I think the pilot jet is blocked because it will not idle without "choke" so I'm going to pull the carb and rebuild it. SHould be good as new... now I just have to decide what else I want to do to it. TG
