Another newbie from Oz. I am about to buy an imported Sr400. (I hope that does not offend anyone here)
I hope to strip it back, cafe style over the next few months.
I may have some stupid questions along the way so I apologise in advance.
Cheers,
Paul

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask. So, no apology necessary.
Welcome!

I felt the same way when i bought an imported SR400!
If you work and care for it as much as the guys do with their 500's, you're in mate! (Well, they haven't told me to p!ss off yet, and I ask heaps of dumb questions!)

I visited the SR250 forum once in a while because of my SR185. Other 185'ers would be there and ask questions, and I remember this whole debate arising with sarcastic comments about how "This is a 250 forum, not for 185's!" LOL! Poor kids!
You're welcome Paul, even if I've got a whole moped's worth of capacity more than you! ;D
Cafed SR's have got to be among the best looking bikes in the history of motorcycles!
