Hi, Any guys from Europe know what years the SR500 prefix *2J4... was used over there? Sjef or anyone? I have just got myself an SR500 engine from a guy at the German Embassy here and he brought it over with him when he was posted here... Thanks, SR

1979.
I have an Aussy 78 which is 2J2 and a UK 79 which is 2J4. The parts book seems to confirm this.

Hi Aero, Thanks for that...I am not sure what the '79 SR's were here, I'll check. Possibly 2J2... My two '78s are 2J2 as you have stated, and the '81 model I have is a 4F3... Interesting... SR
