If it's any help South Seattle Sports Plaza has it for $54.73 but it would be cheaper to get another one at a wrecking yard or ebay. Are you sure you need all those parts? I generally just clean it up and put it all back together until it's too warn out then replace the whole thing. www.yamahasportsplaza.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/default.aspx

The base part# is the same but, I'm not positive the bore is the same size as my 650 had a drum on the rear. Perhaps someone on our sister site could confirm? www.mikesxs.net/mikesxs-chassis.php?category_id=1.2

I just checked my K&L Supply catalog and they don't specifically show one for an SR, they do show for XS500,650,750,850,& 1100. These are all similar vintage and may fit.
Alternatively, you may be able to just get the cup (what normally leaks) from a local autoparts supplier. It would be the same thing as what would be used on drum brake wheel cylinders. You will need to know the bore size when you go in.

I just purchased an original yamaha part for my 5/8" rear master. It was 46 dollars from NWvintagecycleparts. I couldn't find any cheaper. It should be about 15 dollars but couldnt find it any cheaper. Chalk it up to the economy melting down.
Part # | Description | Qty | Price | Total ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 1U4-W0042-50-00 | Cylinder Kit, Master | 1 | $ 46.66 | $ 46.66 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- TOTAL: $ 46.66
good luck

Thaks for the info.. That's the best price I've seen so far.
I checked it out and I also have the 5/8 rear master.. Whoever tried to fix it before I got it stuffed a 16mm cup into it. No supprise then that the cup jams up in the bore and won't come back down to expose the resivouir port.

I was just going to get a 94 Dodge shadow wheel cylinder kit. (5/8") I'll have to ask about individual cups.
