Thanks to everyone for the nice comments. Hopefully, I won't have anything major happen due to poor engineering. Any project as big as this one was is a challenge.

I am thinking some areas may be problems, One being the rear suspension linkage. Did I get my leverage ratios and mechanical advantage though an arc correct? Is the progression rate to steep or just right? It feels OK sitting but, I need to ride it to tell for sure. The other is that I may have to beef up some pieces. The chain guard/roller is a good example. I rebuilt it from 1/4" aluminum this time. Twice as thick as before.

I do have a book on the subject but, it is rather dated (1985 edition). "Motorcycle Chassis Design:the theory and practice" by Tony Foale & Vic Willoughby. The physics part is good and will always stay the same but some of the ideas are dated.

hey solo are you a guitar head as well...if so are your guitars as radical as that brilliant sr Nothing that radical. stock Epi Paul except for the knobs and a roller bridge. Kit guitar, Fender copy. Recut body shape and used Mahogany for the pick guard. Scratch build lap steel guitar. Aluminum neck, basswood body, & Walnut fret board. I still need to inlay the fret markers in this one

A Partscaster huh? Looks real nice. Ash body? Either way, it goes well with the Maple fret board.
