Ah now I see them...excellent work. Nice to see you doing something a bit different. Always good to be individual. Mills and lathes are handy things for this sort of thing. SR

Why didn't you use banjo-fittings on both hoses and a hollow stud? regards Sven I tried that. There are clearance issues with the back cylinder stud boss on the engine case. Particularly with the banjo fittings I was using. I ended up using them on the other end. Basically, I was making do with what I had already. You COULD do it but it would rub.

The bike looks great but a couple questions, why do you have about 10 discs on the Supertrapp AND a big hole in the end cap? Also, what's up with the big ugly headlight?

The Supertrapp is from my old SoloVee race car. I used the guts and slid it into an new Vance&Hines can. I'll tune the number of discs later. The headlight is from a '86-'88 FX600. It reminds me of an unfaired endurance race bike from the '80's. I have anyways liked that look. Kinda like your seeing stuff that you wouldn't normally see because of a fairing.

Sweet bike. I just started on my 78. First I'm going to get it running and street worthy, then, you've given me some interesting ideas. I have a 79 Ducati Darma front end on my retired XS650/Shell750 that I've been thinking of swapping and I really like your single shock rear. Oh, the possibilities. Thanks for the insentive.

The FZ600 pair of lights on there are only 5 1/4 (130ish mm) Any larger WOULD look goofy and smaller may look better but kinda gets away from the look I was after. That would be a early-mid 1980's endurance racer look.

Dig that pipe! Did you make it or is that for sale somewhere?

Hand built. The head pipe is just from another bike, cut and realigned for the SR. The muffler is a shortened Vance&Hines aluminum can with a Supertrapp slid inside.
