Hi Guyz As some of you have seen in the Australian SR500 club News letter My mate Michael and I are about to embark on a small expedition around this land of ours . Before we go we are trying to fit tanks with extra fuel capacity, we are modifying some XS750 (i think) tanks, we need to cut the front and change the mounting the problem is we have to remove the filler . We were thinking of getting some old postie bike tanks and cut the filler from that and weld it in , only problem is the only ones i have been able to find are $150 each!! Has anyone got any ideas or maybe some old posti bike tanks that you no longer want Thanks Mark PS if anyone wants to see what we are up to my website is www.flyereddiesr500.citysolar.net got heaps to do on the site but it might give you an ides of where we are going

Yes but what's a pushbike? Is that an Australian thing, something a kangaroo would ride in?

Great little site Mark...I'd reckon you could find heaps of tank caps etc. at the wreckers in damaged tanks for real cheap. SR
