hi i would like to know if any one has fitted a acewell 27xx www.acewell-meter.com/c0_1.php?bid=11&pid=3 into the daytona head light? On vanem they say the hole in the head light is 60mm and the asewell is 64.5 mm so i was wondering if you grinded the hole out a little if it would still fit in the recessed area for the gauge? what size is the recessed area ? thanks wmd

the od of the rim is 74mm (acewell) so it think it might need a bit of work to look right.

Yeah, food for thought.
First non-ugly digital speedo i've seen. I've read a far bit about using the magnets on the rims to set speed, but how would you do the revs on something like that?

I would imagine the sensor for the tacho comes off the coil or ignition circuit, coil would probably be easier.

you can hook the tacho to the spark plug lead or cdi i dare say you would just need to program it for the amount of cylinders. ie 1
