Went out to the shop and started digging around to see what might work, what will work, and what doesnt. Learned some new tricks and before I knew it the SR500 has totally changed character again. This looks like the way this one is going to finally evolve before tearing it down for paint. Still have some details to work out but very happy with the way it is going. Not quite happy with the temporary swingarm but already have something in the works. Just need to try a few more things before comiting to the rear. Have 3 different sets of shocks for the rear and these are only for mock up.
Lets see 2 different sets of forks, third set of triple trees, 2nd set of wheels, no idea how many different handlebars, 2nd tank, still need to figure out the exhaust. Also have some welding to finish and a few more tweeks to the frame. A lot of the welding is going to depend on what swinarm I end up using.
Really like the tough look with the new wheels and front end. Now I need to get it done before summer.
