Hey lads!
Been working on my SR400 project for a while now, having the odd hiccup here and there, but largely it's going well. The order of things (Long term) for the project is going to be 1. Costmetics 2. Handling 3. Top Speed. Only up to stage one so far, and there's still one or two things i want to do (Maybe an alloy tank and get some different faces made up for the tacho)
2. Will probably just be some ohlins shocks or the like, and 3 will be boring out etc etc.
Anyway, I'm stuffed up one or two things so far. The main problem being the electrics... I had to disconnect all the wires in headlight to pull it off and get the clipons on, but now I haven't got power at all! Woe is me. I've checked and re-checked all the connections, and the last thing i can think of is i -may- have blown a fuse. Anybody have any ideas as to where they are located? Had a hunt around but couldn't find any...
Also still have problems with the shorter throttle cables i rigged up - the throttle isn't snapping back to idle when i turn the handle. I'm hoping it's just a simple case of re-running the throttle cables...
Anyway, here's some pics! If anybody has any ideas, no matter how off the cuff they may be, please chuck them my way, i'll try anything once...
Since the photo I've also added a supertrapp muffler. It's ugly as sin, but I had the same style on my old TW200. While it was very loud, it had a wonderful grunty tone.
