Nice Bill. So how'd that YZ swingarm work at the pivot point? Did it require spacers or anything? Or bolt right on. Did you do the welding work on the swingarm shock mounts? What model are the triple trees from? Really cool project! Gary Hopwheels

YZ swingarm is same width as stock. Need to machine down the pivot bolt to match the diameter of the YZ bearings. Custom made tripple trees machined just for this project. Almost too narrow but will work with correct spacers and minor filling on the forks. Not much of an aluminum welder so I did not do it. Really like the look of the XT tank with the SR seat though. Not going to run a front or rear fender it will be like you see it.

Cant remember off the top of my head. If you check out the rest of my yahoo gallery you'll see I am a busy guy and build a lot of stuff. Need to get better organized and write down what vehicle has what done to it.

Went through more of your pics Bill... nice stuff! Diggin' your garage/work space and all the awesome projects. That '77 TT looks extra clean. Nice. Is that a Honda 50 or 70 or something and it looks dealer fresh. Love those little things. Man, what fun. Gary Hopwheels

77 TT is extra nice. It lost spark around 79 or 80 and was left in the garage before I came along. Converted that one to street legal. The Trail 70 only had 169 miles on it when I sold it with the plastic dealer plate still there. I only put 3 miles on it. Look closely at the cars and you will see my right hand drive 4sp (hint, the orange one). Purple cars are friends of mine. Aussie guys should recognize them. 41 Ford is a friend of mine and the car is in the movie Worlds Fastest Indian. 77 Trans am is a lot of fun. 455 built to the nuts. 66 Impala is sold and headed to Australia along with the Mustang. Too many projects and only 2 hands! Have always been this way and built many neet toys over the years. Fastest car was a Datsun 280z with a built 350 that I would use to race street bikes with. Fastest bike is the FJ1200 that I just bought. Might post some pics later of my thumpers all in a row when the garage gets cleaned out a bit.

More from the garage! Had one of my XT500s out and about today. Before I put it away I snapped some pics of it. They are added to my yahoo album. Its a clean 77 with SW shocks, Better fork springs, polished rims, Supertrapp, Cam, and a TT500 carb jetted to match the exhaust. 2nd gear wheelies are a snap on this one. I just cant leave anything stock. Bill
