Alright fellas!
I'm not going down with the deus guys, as they are taking the highway, and I want to make more of a day of the RNP etc on the way down.
Get across to the Heathcote Road and then to Waterfall, go down through the Royal National Park as far as Bald Hill, then go up to Helensburgh and left down the old Princes Highway to Bulli.
Follow the Princes Highway down to Albion Park Rai, turn right at the big roundabout at Tory Toyota, right again in Ablion Park proper, them scamper up Macquarie Pass. BE CAREFUL, there are lots of trucks using the Pass and my brother crashed his VFR there just a couple of days ago on a diesel spill.
Stop at the Robertson Pie Shop (as one does), then out to the other side of Robertson and left down Wildes Meadow Road. Watch this one too, even though it's fine and sunny there a lots of treed corners and the road may still be damp (and will stay that way).
Left at the reservior and down in to the Kangaroo Valley.....
So, if anyone's lurking and coming, or know of a Sydney rider after some company, now's the time! Don't be a stranger!

Hi, The KVR is over for the first time...it all went very well. The venue was great and the surrounding countryside on the way down and at KV was very picturesque. Riders came from the NSW south coast, Sydney, Bathurst, Tamworth(!) and the ACT...thanks for coming people. Some people brought their families as well for the weekend which was great to see. The weather was perfect with beautiful blue skies and sunshine...13 500 Yams turned up, with 11 SR500's including a couple a race bikes, and an XT500 cafe racer and an XT500 Supermotard styled bike as well. All nice machines. A couple of the other Deus bikes were also there including a cafe'd Triump retro bike and a Suzy 600(?) tracker styled machine and a brand new CBR600 as well. A small 'off' in the steep down-hill and tight twisties leading down into KV left a couple of the nicest Deus SR's a little dented but there was no lasting damage. Overall I think that a good time was had by all who attended. A lineup of the bikes in the main street of KV had a lot of interested on-lookers milling around...good stuff. Deus and the SR Club supplied T shirts and caps for the 'presentations' and on behalf of everyone I would really like to thank them for that. Thanks Taka and Ben and thanks to the SR Club boys..and girls...the prizes were much appreciated. Everyone was a winner. Adrian from Vanem had also agreed to supply some prizes but fortunate circumstances meant that we had enough...thanks for the kind offer Adrian...next year for sure. Speaking of next year we are probably going to change the format a little and start slightly earlier. We are planning on going down on the Friday afternoon and having the whole of the Saturday devoted to a ride in the morning and 'show and shine' type of event in the afternoon...well a presentation of the bikes for judging anyway...we will probably hold it about a month earlier as well. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I did. SR ;D

Sorry I had to leave early, but it was great to be there and pick everyone's brains for things to do, and got some great advice from all concerned. Some beautiful bikes there too, now, who's got pics?

Glad to hear the ride was a sucess, jealous i wasn't there. However i did find time on my work trip to the Daly River to land 4 barra, biggest being 82cm.
AND i'm sure I saw an SR thumping through Darwin after an XT600.
If you're lurking around her mate, make yourself known......

Stew, Thanks again for the invitation for the ride. It was nice to meet a few of you and it's given me some inspiration, along with this forum, to get my SR on the road.
Cheers.............Don.
