Yeah, she's a nice looking bike and it's good to see he's not shy about riding it As good as the small guard (and no rear guard) looks. . . I'm starting to wonder about whether I really should chop mine up. Styling versus keeping all that road grime off your bike? Hmmm.

It's a heat insulator. (I guess Marlon doesn't want a big burn mark on his right leg, like I have)

Heyheyhey!
And yep, it's heat insulator. My first two experiences with the bike was burning a chunk of my leg, and some family friends kids burning their fingertips off on it.

...some family friends kids burning their fingertips off on it. *Puts on best Aussie bloke accent* "Well. They're gotta learn somehow."

I too have that telltale pink oval on my right ankle. Not to mention that the sole of my shoe has melted all over what was a gorgeous chrome pipe. Does that wrap make a big difference? Call those kids back over to investigate.

I have the scar on the outside of my left leg. Stepped a little too close to the bike while filling it up. Mick

My brother that replaced his front brake lever with a wrench and allen key? Just before that trip he bent down to look at the sump and steadied himself with a hand on the header. Yow! Fortunately his left hand so twist-gripping was not impaired.

While inspecting my partner's SR185, I pulled up to try to work out why the rear brake light switch wasn't working. I got down on my hands and knees and promptly pressed my nose against the pipe!
