Here are some pics of my old xt.I got this bike as a parts deal that i bought about 6 months ago. Have been slowly tinkering around with it to get it to this stage. It is not real pretty but is still great fun to ride and cost me next to nothing.   |

Yes the tank is a sorry state.Guy i got it from thinks someone got bike and rider with a bullbar.Ugly looking road rash in the alloy too.
Allways got my eyes open for a replacement,scored one from ebay but its for a later model and does not fit up around the oil filler.

Fenz,
I'm after a destroyed tank. Need the underside with mounts(if not destroyed) Don't want to hack a good tank. If want it to go to a good home let me know we'll talk dollars.

Have a Black 81 tank it has a couple of little dent in the top can send you some photos if you like.
