I tried to upload this pic to the ablum, but apparently it's currently full. Anyway, Monday morning I arrive and work and am greeted with a lovely sight (this is the type of thing that resulted in me eventually buying one for myself in the first place).

And there's a black engine model there too.
I work at Action Motorcycles. These babies were freshly complianced and on their way to Deus. I think they sell them for around $9k. Typically they're only a year or two old with very little kms on them.

At the risk of sounding a little bit gay, I want the one with the red tank with the cream paintouts. Mick

$12k?! d**n! I'm only going by what I've seen on the tags hanging off the bars in their showroom. PS. Yamahas should only ever have black frames

Thats actually not too bad a price ! I think the RE is around that new but the SR creams them & its better made. If I win lotto this week I'll fly over grab one & order all the gear to cafe`my oldy & all will be sweet (I may just get away without the divorce too!) cheers Dave,

Some where between 9-12k I could build a couple of hotties for that sort of cash. Whats that make our old bikes worth as they near 30 years old? ??

well, I suppose by the time I get mine sorted, 9k isn't THAT bad.....seeing as mines 30 next year, and those are new.
BUT its expensive for me to pull apart something that works perfectly well and make a mess of it. ;D
Thats why I'm better off starting with a mess

Yeah I know what you're saying Milkman. I know I'd be doing a lot more chopping/trimming/grinding etc, etc if mine wasn't in such new condition.
