Nice colours. Really nice condition too. So what year is this bike? Looks like a Daytona head-pipe. I just put one on my SR. The extra bend in the pipe looks really vintage.

hi lads,thanks for the compliments.1978 u.k spec.recently added the downpipe [biebo german website,very good to do biz with].the original downpipe was beginning to get pitted plus i was struggling to find somewhere local to get it re-chromed.the downpipe is stainless and single wall so should stand the test of time!the muffler is a reverse megaphone again from biebo.although i like the megaphone especially the looks the fact is it doesnt perform as well as my goldie muffler or sound as deep.yeah the paint job was done by a mate to my personal spec,but i really fancy having it chromed when i can find the right bloke to do it.owned the bike for 18months,paid £600 for it 16,000 miles,recently had the wheels re-laced in polished stainless,definitely worth doing to give the wheels a new lease of life!bike is now better than the one ibought.needless to say i love this thing to bits,not mint condition but very nice and tidy.next job?maybe a topend re-furb next winter although it pulls like a good'un and still achieves 90 plus m.p.h , uses a drop of oil but at nearly 30 years old i think she's entitled to!!!
