See the pic submitted by Hopwheels. Nice SR! Tidy install of the carb. Any idea on what size it is and how it is set up? Is that running through the stock exhaust? Talk to you soon, G Man

Thanks. I actually added links to the pics on my "hello" post 'cause I thought I hadn't figured out how to upload. Guess I was wrong Yes, that is the stock exhaust. It is either a 36mm or 38mm Mikuni (I think) I don't really know how to tell, and there are no part numbers that I can spot on the carb to give me a hint. The guy I purchased it from had the original stock carb, throttle, airbox, dead mint rear taillight assembly and "rusted a bit" exhaust to hand over with the bike (I was stoked ;D ) It had a rusted out supertrapp on it that I took off and re-installed the orig pipe. The Mikuni goes out to an oval K&N, and the crank breather goes to a smaller K&N. Being the neat freak I am, I bought a duel 60mm flange/opening oval K&N filter that will fit the original crank airbox flange (funky looking rubber reducer) on the bottom opening and the top opening over the 60mm intake on the Mikuni (at least in theory, I haven't put it on yet). I just wasnt diggin' the cut length of heater hose with the small K&N filter kind of flopping about behind the side cover attached to the crank intake. I don't know if this set up will work, but the original airbox had both carb and crank case breathing the same air, so I'm hopeful no harm will come. I've learned these machines run hot (my oil temp gauge gets up there quick), and actually have wondered if that stock little rubber reducer acted as an accelerator for the air intake into the crank and helped it run just a tad cooler on the stock airbox? Anyway, now I'm just jabbering. Thanks for the warm welcome G Man. Gary (Hopwheels)
