Mate I said it was a process of elimination ! Next time you pull any connectors apart why don't you use the masking tape & black pen method ? When I pull bits off I also put a bolts/nuts& the components into a bag & write on the bag what it is . This makes it simple at the putting back together stage (it keeps the rythme) . Dave, I did that on all of the single wire connectors that are easily confused. I didn't think any of the big connectors would fit together unless they were right.In retrospect, one connector was green and the other was white. Wires going in did not match wires coming out. I guess I started drinking too early that evening. I rode it in to work today. I seems she has forgiven me. About 40 miles each way. Starting out on winding country roads, then high speed interstate, and finally downtown city traffic. It was great.
